About the STRIKERS
STM FC Lehigh Strikers is a Lehigh Valley premier U-19 girls soccer team. Under the direction of Head Coach Karl Maehrer, the STM Strikers formed in June 2006. The girls represent many Pennsylvania High Schools spanning four counties, including, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton and Berks.
The team consists of players from LVC Champions, District 11-3A Champions Emmaus, Parkland & Nazareth, District 11-2A Champions Allentown Central Catholic and District 3 Champions and state runner-up Fleetwood. Many of these girls are All-State, All-Conference, All-League, All-Division and All County players.
Beginning with the mid-June York College Girls Classic Tournament in Pennsylvania and continuing through November, the STRIKERS participated in numerous Mid-Atlantic regional showcase tournaments throughout the East Coast.
Playing with the Strikers has assisted many of our girls in obtaining admission to colleges where they will continue to play soccer. These girls are true "student athletes" and have dedicated themselves on and off the field.
